HDSB Winch

Description

The 9 tonne HDSB winch is a development of the ABLE winch that was produced for the US market. Two prototype winches were manufactured, and the prototype bridge layer was successful in its trials. However, during the trials it was found that a commercially available winch was suitable for the application as the line pull requirement was much lower than had been predicted.
