Clayton Engineering Limited provides a high quality design and manufacturing service producing piece part components through to complex fully intergrated systems.

The Company was formed in 1973 to provide a Design and Development consultancy. Prototype Manufacturing facilities were added to complement the design expertise and in 1976 the Company was established on its present site. Progressive expansion has provided extensive office, workshop and test facilities on a 7 acre site. The Company's core expertise is in the design and low volume production of specialised products to the highest standards. Continuing investment in personnel, training and equipment has developed a facility which offers high quality and efficient service in the Marine, Automotive, Aerospace and General Engineering industries. The Company is NATO Commercial and Government Entity coded as a MOD supplier.

Quality Assurance

The Company gives quality assurance pre-eminence in its operations using a Quality Management System, which has been assessed to Quality System Standard BS EN ISO9001:2000 by LRQA. The Company is a member of The British Standards Institute and TWI (formally The Welding Institute).
