The FCB2 carriage is currently in development and is to support the FCB2 lifeboat programme. This boat will eventually replace the “Mersey” class lifeboat that is currently operated from the FCB carriage.

The FCB2 carriage uses a novel drive through concept that is designed to give a high degree of operational flexibility coupled with a high degree of automation within an affordable package.
