Suremix SM50

The Suremix SM50 was designed and built by Clayton Engineering Limited as a purpose built industrial mixing machine.  The concept design was created at the start of 2009, and prototype testing to evaluate the machine components was carried out in the summer of 2009.  The finalised prototype machine was delivered to site by Easter 2010 and by June 2010 was working reliably and to specification.  The prototype machine subsequently operated for 2000 hours, manufacturing recycled aggregate that was used for the East-West Interconnector project in North Wales.
